A Bond Undone picks up where its precursor left off, and follows Guo Jing, Lotus Huang, and a host of other characters’ adventures with, of course, lots of kung fu. In this installment, I enjoyed the banter between characters (so many great scenes featuring the various martial masters) and the gradual development of Guo Jing’s character and his fighting abilities. A fun read that blends adventure, drama, and humour.
I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I have to say that I liked A Bond Undone better. The dialogue felt much smoother and more natural in this second installment of the Legends of the Condor Heroes.
Moderate: Confinement and Violence
Minor: Sexual assault, Suicidal thoughts, and Sexual harassment
