Read as part of my July classics project
What struck me most about this book is that it seems to be source material for JK Rowling's Harry Potter - from the school train to the midnight feasts to the wise head teacher with the twinkling eyes.
I enjoyed it all and look forward to the rest of the series.

Gosto muito dos livros da Enid Blyton, mas agora ainda mais adoro pois estou a lê-los em inglês. Uma experiência diferente e interessante!

This was such a fun read to revisit. If you're a fan of Mallory Towers, then I definitely recommend reading St. Clare's.

Just as lovely at age 22 as it was at age 12 ❤️

I loved this series, it’s one of my childhood favourites. This was one of the first books I read set in a boarding school, and this series holds a special place in my heart. Would highly recommend it, it’s a fun read. ❤️

It took longer than the first one for me to finished this one, but it's as enjoyable as the first one. Meeting again with the characters from the first book with several new characters such a fun journey.

This book has more drama than the first one. It tells us don't judge a book by its cover. People act a certain way because of their past experiences not just because they want to. The tricks are funny and some of the experiences relatable.

Absolutely my favourite in the series!! I really empathized with Margaret the underdog, and how people were really mean to her, and didn't give her a chance. But then she redeems herself and proves herself to everyone, not wanting anything in return. She's very pleased and surprised when she changes their opinion off her.
I guess, all these years later, this book stood out to me. I found it really inspiring as a kid, and I'm really attatched to this book.
