This is also the fifth, I believe, book on the Trump presidency this reader has completed, and it remains astounding that any individual holding America's office of leadership has been given as much latitude in what is clearly -- the evidence is deep and clear -- a compromised relationship with regards to a foreign government. What other individual would be given this amount of space to repeatedly misrepresent the truth of the volume and content of their conversations with an unfriendly foreign power? This makes this reader wonder not so much about the cult of Trump so much as whether compromising relationships extend to the legislative branch. The president, by any comparative or evidentiary basis, should have been removed some time ago.
