I've just read this whole book in a day. I was reading it in a hospital waiting room at one point and smiling at some of the banter and internal dialogue and realised I probably looked inappropriate. Still.

Loved Pippa and Jamie. Their development as characters and their relationship felt organic and natural.

Loved the steam, loved the dialogue. Loved the plot.

I'd say it was a bit too long, the end sort of tailed off a bit, but I can't wait to get my hands on another by this author.

This is a perfect spicy romance! I mean, who doesn't like a well-written, steamy, hockey romance?! I loved the chapters that alternate POV so we see just how much Pippa and Jamie are secretly yearning for each other. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no third act breakup that the had to overcome. The issues of depression and anxiety were treated with respect. I look forward to reading the rest of the Vancouver Storm series!

Another sports romance series started and I really enjoyed this one!

Especially once Jamie and Pippa were working together and the relationship progressed, how much Jamie cared for her, helped Pippa grow in confidence to go and do what she wants to do career wise.

Also, how Pippa was so supporting with his mum and would do anything for him and it was such a lovely relationship. Despite them both being in their 20s, they were both quite mature and I like that when authors make younger characters have a bit of maturity.
