I appreciate these retellings of the original TOS adventures with the Kelvin Timeline characters. This volume includes Trouble with Tribbles which is one of my favorite episodes. McCoy is by far the funniest character overall. Spock and Kirk seem to have already established a basic sense of trust in one another. I think there is still a lot of space left for them to become closer friends, so I am looking forward to that.
