Not really sure where all the love for this book is coming from, maybe nostalgia. I've read a lot of really bad Star Trek, and this is pretty bad. It's a painful read, and I'd recommend it only for the completionists out there that have to read the whole series.

Loved this series. Really captures the characters from the tv show

The biggest problem with this novel is that it is a part one. It is short and it seems to me that it should have been one book. I enjoyed Voyager and watched it as it unfolded over 7 years. I gained respect for the writing/ characters when I re-watched it on DVD.

This novel does a great job of telling us what happened after the show ended and Voyager returned to earth. Very well done, and fits perfectly in ST tradition of graduating characters beyond the arc of the shows. Now I need book two.

It’s a solid book. It is certainly a fast read and uses a small tidbit from one of the voyager plot points from a particular episode. It leads up to the second part on a slight cliffhanger

Fun for fans of the Voyager TV show to continue following the characters after the shows conclusion, but felt very much like Part One of Two. Storyline didn’t really start until 2/3rds of the way through the book. The middle 1/3rd was very slow - perfect for readers who want a slice of life read.

Thank God for official fan fiction! I totally approved of the end of Voyager (what an ending!) but was naturally desperate to find out more.

It was a cheap trick to turn this novel into two, but Golden's interpretation was adventurous and exciting and sometimes surprising. I loved it.

Great follow on from the TV series. Looking forward to reading the second book in this story.
