sometimes I find it really difficult to take muzan seriously because all I see is michael jackson.
on a more serious note, I did overall prefer this volume over the first one! I thought the pacing was a lot better (although it still had its issues), and the development of the relationship between tanjiro and nezuko is so heartwarming. they're so precious to me. also I believe in lady tamayo supremacy!
so far, I am preferring the anime over the manga simply because the anime's visuals make it a lot easier to follow the action sequences without them feeling jarring or messy. maybe it's a me thing because I've never been good with following along with action sequences in manga and graphic novels, but it still disrupted my immersion in the action sequences. and I wasn't really a fan of some of the dialogue, but it could be an issue of translation.

I really like Tanjiro and Nezuko. I don’t love how even the adults look like children, but besides that the art is good.

This installment was fun. Lots more action than Vol 1 and more emotions, too. Gave me a lot to be excited about as the series unfolds.
