I love Lucy Clarke's writing style! She starts slower, but that time is filled with details and descriptions that really set the mood for what's to come! Once the book amps up, it's such a fun ride. Lucy Clarke is now officially an auto-buy author for me!

Four friends meet up each year for their annual catch up and this year the destination is hiking in the Norwegian mountains. But as they arrive to the lodge to set out on their adventure, they find a woman went missing in the same area they will visit, just a year ago. The group set out on their hike but not everything goes to plan a wild adventure unfolds.

This was such an entertaining novel! It was full of mystery and intrigue and I found it haunting in places. The characters backstories were so engaging and I really enjoyed the pacing that kept me turning the pages in this twisted tale. Another enjoyable one that I recommend.

This book took an unexpected turn that I can’t decide if I liked or not. Very easy read and kept me entertained. Parts of this were like watching a bad horror movie where the characters frustratingly keep making all the wrong choices and it’s so bad but you can’t look away.

Honestly decent writing and plot. Consumed this via audio book so maybe I would have liked it better if I read it.
