I enjoyed reading the backstory of some of the characters from The Infernal Devices, but I’m a little over these all or nothing love stories, specially with such young characters.
I do love the tension she shows between the downworlders and the Shadowhunters and the seeds she’s planting for the conflicts to come in her later series

The Herondales are cursed. CURSED! EFFIN' CURSED!

I feel so sorry for Edmund. He shouldn't have to have given up who he was, as Magnus so accurately put it, to be with the woman he loved. He shouldn't have to have suffered so much.

Cassandra Clare will be the death of me someday.

I'm sorry but I couldn't seem to feel any 'kilig' with Magnus & Camille. Hahaha! MALEC forever~ I know he's bi and all but he's way hotter with Alec than with Camille... so yeah... I got a bit bored. LOL. Edmund Herondale's love story was quite interesting & heartbreaking though. And OMG I want some SCONES NOW! :D

Better than the second one, but the nonsense words were annoying. Noindentirtations, noindentourish, noindentame, etc. What was the point of them? Or if you're going to use them, use them in all of the mini-books. Consistency would be nice.

Well, this was at points pretty nice, and at other points not my cup of tea. The meetings between the two groups just wasn't my thing, but I loved seeing Magnus flirt with everything in a grand way and fall in love with various people. I love that Magnus loves both men and women (just like I do). The battle on the streets was awesome, loved seeing a Shadowhunter in action. I was a bit sad at the ending, that is indeed not too nice of those people.
I loved the big descriptions about everything, though sure at times I just wished they would get on with it. :P
4 stories read out of 11 that are in this book. I will get there. Eventually. :)
