This was the very first sapphic books I ever read, and it will always hold a special place in my heart, the main character Leah isn’t perfect and has many flaws but that’s what I love her for it, in a sense I can somehow relate to her and the way she speaks to herself, like having a mini dialogue in head, I like her humor, though she can be too tense sometimes, and maybe a bit OA, but that’s just how she is.
I don’t remember much about the book anymore, but I remember the feeling it gives me, maybe I like it because when I read it I was also still in the closet, and I had the same feeling as Leah, it’s not like I know my friends won’t accept me, they will and and they did, it’s more like a me problem at that time. I also felt conflicted with the whole feelings. So reading this had been entertaining to me, makes me feel better somehow.

Leah’s anger really resonates with me. She’s absolutely determined to be less than and blames herself for everything. It is painfully relatable.
Moderate: Racism and Biphobia
The author of this book is bisexual. The main character is bisexual and plus-sized. This book includes supporting characters who identify as gay, who are questioning, and a Black supporting character.jaychayka7777's review against another edition

This book is essentially I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver- if it was a dumpster fire. I've never hated a protagonist more. So "not like other girls," pessimisstic, stubborn, overall an ASSHOLE. Literally I feel so bad for her mother and it's not even real omg. Cliche book that ends with a prom scene. Only plus is that it's fat queer rep. This author is so obsessed with Harry Potter it is nauseating.
