loved!

So glad Andy and April got their happy ending. With lots of moon pies and pudding. Loved how Dutch also found her a slice of happiness.

I really thought this would be a 5 star for me. I loved the first one and this one had a better rating so I couldn’t wait. So maybe it was my expectations that made it a little disappointing for me, but I didn’t like it as much. It’s wordy!! I scanned over a lot. I have been to Charleston, and even if I hadn’t I didn’t need a description of every piece of it!
And then there’s the fact that April falls in love with Andy and decides he’s the one while he’s crying about another girl. I don’t know... that didn’t work for me. And then even though Andy was sweet, I just didn’t agree that he was just so wonderful to her as she kept saying. He’s a good guy. He’s not mean to her. But can someone tell me what he did that was so thoughtful and perfect? April goes to him the whole time. She waits on him to patch up his heart over someone else. She brings hometown goods and wants to surprise him and do nice things for him. What did he do? Hold back emotionally and give her good sex? I just didn’t swoon over him how I thought I would.
But I did like both of them well enough and it was a cute book with some funny parts ... so 3.5 stars.

I've enjoyed all of the Kate Stewart books that I've read but I'm so over them all ending with a pregnancy

I loved the first book in the series, Anything but Minor, and I was so excited to read the second book. And guys, I LOVED IT EVEN MORE! I don't know how that is possible, but April and Andy's story is magical and such an enjoyable read! These two are so great together and Stewart's writing is hilarious. I even learned a new meaning for SWAG! Both characters are so well developed and their backstories are an important part of the story.

Both April and Andy were hesitant to jump into a serious relationship after their pasts, but it was hard to deny the chemistry between them. I enjoyed the somewhat slow burn into a night of passion, and the subsequent time they spent figuring things out. Stewart wrote a more emotional book here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and didn't mind the tears I found myself shedding. Love love love this book! It can be read as a standalone, but is also a great partner to book 1.

Another decent read; it does need better editing. I like this world and the characters Kate Stewart has created, but the story is a bit lacking.
Not clean romance, semi-Christian.
