Hahahaha what the fuck????
Mean girls meets heathers meets fucking Frankenstein, this was an absolute trip form start to finish.
Not sure what I just read tbh, but it was very fun.

Alright WHAT DID I JUST READ.

This book is weird to say the least. When I started it, I was like WTF am I reading. I had zero idea where it was going to go-because your girl goes into books completely blind. I never read the synopsis before starting books.
While I ended up really enjoying this one. If you want to be absolutely in the dark about what’s going on and unsure who to even believe at any point. I suggest picking this one up.
What I liked:
🧡I really enjoyed the writing style and how this story was told.
🧡Being in the dark for page one as to what was going on
🧡The prestigious school setting
🧡The quirkiness and ridiculousness of the storyline itself
🧡The friendships
🧡The ending 👩‍🍳💋

What I fell a little flat
👎Being in the dark from page one 🤣 (I loved and disliked it at the same time)
👎Some parts were slow moving and a little fluffy

I am generally someone who prefers realism in the novels they read, but this one really worked for me.

Please check trigger warnings before starting this book.

A short and sweet synopsis

“Bunny” follows the main character, Sam who is in a prestigious masters program. Sam has always felt like an outsider and the women in her program do not help this fact. In fact, the women in her program call each other Bunny. When Sam gets invited to hang out with the women in her program, she wakes up only able to remember bits and pieces of the night. And now there are bunnies everywhere she goes as if she is being followed by them. Sam also begins to feel a draw to the women she always claimed to hate… and weird things begin to happen.

That’s it. If I ever see a book recommended on TikTok again, I’m taking it off my TBR no questions asked. This is hands down one of the worst books ever written.

I could write a proper review for it, but I don’t respect it nearly enough to grace it with an intelligible little essay.

Mona Awad really saw those tumblr photos of people dressing up while wearing animal masks and said “Hold my beer, I can rip this off and turn it into utter shite.” Well, she did. Congratulations I guess?

The book drags on and on and on, with no plot AND no vibes. Literally, gives nothing but utter boredom. A better writer could turn this premise into a good story maybe, but not this one. I can’t believe someone wrote a Mean Girls fan fiction and managed to butcher it this terribly.

Save your time, and especially your money.
