While it has been a long time since I read this originally, I loved this book. So many people think that this one is the most boring or pointless, but this one is probably my favorite of the trilogy. It is high stakes, it isn't a completely happily ever after. Now, onto the prequel!

Words cannot describe the lasting effects this series is going to have on me. I somehow escaped its hold for over a decade but here I am. The way that a lot of these events happen in real life is infuriating. I am so sad at how certain things played out but I am thankful that there was somewhat of a happy ending.

as i look back into the first time that i finishes this book, i remember really liking it. it was still, my least favourite of the series but i enjoyed it nonetheless.

now, as i’m older and i’ve reread the entire series, i appreciate this book and this closure to the series so much. this final book impacted me in ways that right now i can’t really comprehend, but all i know is this: life can go on, no matter how bad our loses. that it can be good again.
