Thought it would be fun to track some of the best children's books we read. This one is by far our favorite right now!

I've been reading a lot of Jan Thomas during preschool classes. The books are short and sweet, and the repetition helps the ELL population at my school. This is fun because you can make up a tune for the lullaby. This one also seems to have a decent ending that isn't just stopping the story, as some other titles by the author seem to do.
One note: The drawing of the wolf does look like a giant bunny. A few kids did think it was a bunny.

Another great selection from the 2013 TXLA 2x2 list. A very fun storytime book that captures the kid's attentions and gets them giggling on almost every turn of the page! By the end of the book, the kids and parents were singing along with the cowboy's lullaby (I learned the tune on Jan Thomas' website).

Awesome Jan Thomas illustrations and humor. The cowboy is trying to sing his cows to sleep but keeps getting unexpectedly interrupted. My preschool story time kids are going to love it!
