Oh my! Well here it goes. I'm 100% reeling and still immersed in this world.
This is a slow burn, action packed book about 2 wolf shifters who stubbornly are trying to deny fates bond due to the hands they have been dealt and their views on bonds. In this book, there is a badass FMC, a possessive but respectable alpha, and many loveable, hilarious side characters. (I want to know even more about those side characters by the way, Melissa! I need more!)
Melissa's writing style and in depth descriptions captured me right away. The amount of thought and detail put into the world building and character relationships are amazing. It kept me turning the pages to the very end. I have so many theories in response to those plot twists.
I highly recommend this novel to anyone who love fantasy romance and action. Do not let the "slow burn" hold you back. I can't wait until the next book. This book will definitely be sticking with me.

I agree with most of the previous reviews on this book. Its sooooo slow then plot then slow then plot in the last 10%. If the storyline was more consistent it wouldn't have taken me almost two months to power through it. I can often finish 500+ page books in a day so this was pretty shocking for me. I almost didn't finish. Although I am happy with how it ended I am unsure if I want to continue the series.
