Really enjoyed this and it was the perfect thing to read on the plane to Scotland. Enhanced the experience when I got to the highlands. This is the 3rd hiking book I’ve read (bill Bryson’s a walk in the woods and wild by Cheryl strand). Are there more in this niche genre?

As a fan of his work, I was excited to hear him narrate this journey of his. I loved the actual clips from his track. I liked him going back-and-forth between present and past. Often, when we are outside hiking, we are in our own head, so it was nice to get a glimpse into his history. This is a well written, expertly preformed memoir.

Didn’t hold my interest, not following the actor or his tv show, no great interest in visiting Scotland
