Another fun book in the Wondla series, and I am really hoping it is not the end of the series. I want to know how it continues, will she be happy, will she continue to travel?

But this book was wonderful. The pictures really add to the story. Though I wish they had more color in them.

Such a beautiful book! I love the artwork, it adds so much to the story!

I'm happy that there is a third book (eventually) coming out!

This is definitely one of those series that I'll buy for my little to read when she gets a bit older!

I highly enjoy this series. It is magical and heartwarming. The way the story builds...its awe inspiring and shocking and beautiful. I love Rovender and Eva,their growth together from the first book is well written and sweet. The illustrations are good too. It's an all-around great middle grade series.

I love this series so much, and the 2nd book which I have been anticipating for so long did not disappoint! Tony DiTerlizzi is an such an imaginative author and his illustrations make the book that much better. I love the world that he has created! I would highly recommend this series to anyone, I can't praise it enough. I hope he gets the 3rd one written soon, I can't wait to see what happens :)

The quest to find WondLa continues even if it is not what it seems. Eva and Rovender are thrown into a world they are both completely a were unaware existed. Will Eva be able to find her home?

Honestly, this series is impressive. As a middle grade trilogy, I expected a cute story, few characters development, no deaths and cliches. But it is quite the opposite. If this is middle grade, young adult really need to step up its game.

This second installment was much more political and mature. Of lot of the questions we had were answered and overall, which gave a lot of merit to the intrigue. I was excited to learn about what would happen next. Also, nothing was too fast or too slow. The book was perfectly paced to keep my attention all throughout the story.

The backstory of Rovender is probably my favorite part. Wow. I was speechless when I discovered everything he had been through. So touching.

In the end, the beginning was a bit brusque and the ending VERY open-ended. Those two reasons explain why this did not receive a full blown five stars. Otherwise, it would have. Scared and excited to see what the last book has to offer!

The book was just as well-written as the first one, but I found the plot a little more formulaic. It seemed to be trying to force in way too much action when a little more description would have worked well. Finally (and sorry if this is a spoiler), the lack of an ending really bothered me. I didn't want to get that far into the story just to be left hanging and waiting for the next one.
