This was a quick pace, quick emotions, but a great story. I'm usually one of those people that can't deal with a lot of internal dialogue, but this was handled well. I think the internal dialogue was well balanced with the MC interactions. I liked how they came to like each other.

One of the most emotionally satisfying books I’ve ever read. 

It will be a great benefit if you’ve read the opening novella first too.
