I was expecting the ending to annoy me—cliffhanger endings usually do. But in this case it works remarkably well, with a climactic revelation that both resolves a lot of questions and sets up a lot of action. The rest of the volume having a variety of happenings helped; it was kind of funny seeing Anos take an actual test and study.
