That ending...
I could not relate to Edna as a character at all, probably because motherhood does mean so much to me. I could understand the choices that she made in the story right up until the end. The ending completely ruined this novel for me.

Amazing. Set in the past, during a time when men and women had 'callers', a time I wish I could have experienced. You'll fall in love with Edna. But definitely more so with Robert.

This is an utterly boring, dull book. It’s supposedly a romance novel about a married woman cheating on her husband, but it’s really not that exciting. The ending is a little interesting, but it’s really just a boring book. Thank goodness it’s short!
