I'm conflicted on how to rate this book; obviously Nietzsche's works are notoriously difficult and challenging to comprehend, yet in spite of this, I thoroughly enjoyed the writing style of this particular work. I felt as though, despite the abundance of information, his thoughts were presented in a fairly coherent manner - I especially loved his use of (extremely) extended metaphors throughout the novel. Overall, I loved the novel, but as is the style of the genre, it was challenging to read. Despite this, a solid 4.0. After I read more of Nietzsche's books and analyses, perhaps this rating may change for the better or worse.
Moderate: Death
