An uber-cute snail takes the reader on a journey to the salad at the end of the book and tries to cultivate an appreciation of his species along the way.

That went really fast

The art style is cute and light. The French culture thrown every once in a while to make up the character "Escargot" is nice especially for little kids. But the story... it didn't do much for me. The storyline is just the exact thing you'd want to read to little kids. Overall, this is a nice picture book.

I just did not enjoy it that much.

So cute! Escargot wants to be your favorite animal. Will you let him? The illustrations are adorable. It's super fun to read with a french accent and the story overall was just sweet.
