I loved the 2nd installment in of this spooky, super natural series. It did lack a bit of the "magic" of the first book but I still thoroughly enjoyed the setting, story, and characters.

As a young adult novel it’s fun and readable and a good premise. listened the first in the series and then listened to this straight after as enjoyed listening to an easy to follow but mysterious storyline.

I love when I learn about something new in books! I had never heard of the catacombs in Paris.

I liked this more than the first one and that we are getting more answers. For middle graders, Cassidy is a great protagonist, but my adult brain took over at times while reading and thought, "What are you doing?" But I ultimately understand why.

Overall, a great paranormal read. ^_^
