Simple first chapter book - large print, pictures and short chapters. Discussion questions, prompts, a glossary and a craft at the end of the book for checking comprehension. The series is a good "girl' read without some of the feminine stereotypes or snarkiness found in other series. This specific book is a plus for any kid preparing for a first plane trip.
