OMG!!! I lived in Greensboro, N.C so when I was reading this book, I just felt like I knew each character, those twins were off the hook.
I can't wait for the sequel to come out.

Not a fan of EJD’s writing in general. It was nothing but smut and unnecessary detailing to not be smut lol.

Very different for Dickey but a great read none the less. The scenes were quite vivid.

I've read this book before and decided to read it again, and i still feel the same way i felt before. I love it. This book introduced me to Anais Nin, and it's style was poetic like her words. I keep me interested and made me consider what love is, what lust is. It made me consider hurt, had me thinking of my experiences in life. And like most of Eric's books made me want to visit a different country and experience different cultures.

Absolutely loved this book! For me the characters were so real. I loved the main character, a Ms. Nia Simone Bijou. She's articulate, well read, unsure but willing to try anything for pleasure. Oooo and the twins! Can I get just one go at them? Lol. EJD captivated my attention. Just went I thought the book was hitting a plateau, it shocked me and left me wanting to know more! Would definitely recommend.

3 star rating cause some of the parts were boring and I skipped through them and both Nia and Mark were so annoying to me. But!! the smut was absolutely delicious!

This book left me conflicted. It got to the point where I stopped enjoying reading this book, but continued reading it and was glad to be finished with it. I did like the uniqueness of the main character, Nia. I also liked how the author, a man, could write so vividly an erotic story from a woman's perspective. While I'm all for sexual freedom and exploration, the weird plot twist just didn't work for me and seemed too far fetched. It seemed to come out of nowhere, but exposed the hypocrisy of Nia, Jewel, Mark and Karl. Although this book left a funny taste in my mouth, I will read the other installments about Nia to get more insight into how she became the woman she is in Pleasure. Hopefully the other installments don't disappoint.

I have always been a Dickey fan. But sad to say I did not enjoy this one. I finished it which is saying something, but I didn't like it. His recent efforts have not been his best, including his Sleeping with Stangers series.
There was no depth to this book to me. Most of his books have a point, a message. In this one I found none.
