Read for book club, liked this book a lot more after I educated myself on the DRC as I was not aware of all the history there. I feel like I would need more history which I did search out. Overall liked the second half of the book better than the first

4.5 stars. Stunning. It slowed down at the end, but Kingsolver landed the plane beautifully. This book was so good.
