Such a great book I decided to get out of a slump by reading my childhood favorites and Stuart Gibbs is one of my favorites! I loved reading the first fun jungle books and space has always been a love of mine!

The cast is super charming and the mystery was very engaging even now that I’ve grown up!

TW for a little hint of ableism but it’s not really touched on

A good story for introducing kids to the realities of space travel, a little too much potty humor for my taste and with a splash of ableism that really pulled me out of it. There's a scene where the main character says that people don't use any sign languages anymore (this book is set a little in the future), the implication being that Deaf people don't exist anymore because of ?technology?. This is portrayed as a good/neutral thing.
