A story that shows what a loving, amazing, exciting, crazy, stupid, awesome ride a good friendship really can be. Young readers will learn what friends and family are for and that when life falls to pieces the best response is to pick them up and hold them together.

Sweet friendship between a boy and a spunky girl set in Norway. I liked the relationship between the boy (Trille) and the girl (Lena) as well as the relationship between the children and the Grandpa, as well as the parents. Some heartbreaking moments but sweet in its real-life situations. Also fun to learn about life in a Scandinavian country.
