omg it was so good

This book took me on a world wind of emotions. I had to walk away physically from my iPad because I was drawn in so much, and fell too deep into the story. I cannot wait to read revive me parts 1-3

It took some time

When I started this book I’ll admit it didn’t pull me in. Sloane and Dom were really setting me off. How did she really not remember him? How did he spend 12 years pretending to hate her? I didn’t understand. Needless to say the story started to pull me in at the 70% mark. I wish we got to see what the two of them truly had in common because to me it just seemed like she needed an itch scratched. I’m looking forward to reading about Chris and Mal so I will be reading the next book.

I truly enjoyed this story but my goodness the issues could've been resolved so much sooner. I felt like they dragged the reveal and it did a disservice to the story. I loved the chemistry of the MCs and how their relationship grew. The spicy scenes were decent. The MMC being a little controlling in bed was hot but it felt kind of corny a couple of times (but not too bad). Points for keeping me interested and decent writing. This would've been so much better if it was 100 pages shorter. I'll pick up the next book.

How many times have I cried reading this? Honestly not enough. This book took me awhile to read but I promise it’s not because it’s a slow burn. I LOVED this book. Dom and Sloane’s love story was perfect and filled with ALOT of hunching but also humor, passion, and desire. Omg 100/10 I would highly recommend!

✨Restore Me by J.L. Seeger’s✨
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this story about love WHILE grieving, not after grief like we usually see, but someone actively realizing they can love again while still dealing with their ongoing feelings of loss. This late husband’s best friend story showed perfectly that you don’t have to give up the feelings for the one you lost, just to love someone new; you can hold them both in your heart.

“Dom was the one holding the needle that stitched my heart back together. And he’d done it quietly, carefully, and at great cost to himself because he knew there was no hope in finding the pieces of my heart that I’d lost four years ago when Eric died, so he gave me pieces of his instead. Using them to put mine back together again, to make me whole. To restore me”

I did have 2 small qualms though, the book was too damn long
