Needed more of the murder mystery in the beginning. All the good bits of this book were in the last chapter.

It’s Riverdale, Jughead! This is the third installment of the canon Riverdale novels, and is probably where I would say the books feel like they’re settled in. In The Maple Murders we’re reminded of all the hijinx of season 3, including antics from the Farm and one of the last times (until recently) that we see Ethel. If you’re looking for more Blossoms-and-Tates backstory, this would definitely be the one for you!
