This was adorable and funny. I only read it because I love their videos and wanted an audiobook. I didn't think I'd actually get anything out of it, but I did! There are some great tips for communicating in general, not just with your spouse. Lots of laughs, too. Highly recommend!

This was a super refreshing take on a marriage advice book. Some marriage books are so serious, but this was funny, upbeat, and entertaining. It was more like a podcast than a "self-help" book. I flew through it in just a few days while doing housework.

Great book for couples and definitely listen to the audiobook (way more entertaining listening to them read it themselves). Appreciate their honesty and openness in sharing their personal experiences.

This book is more about better communication than ‘fighting’ with your spouse but I think it works with communications to anyone, kids included. They make it fun and the audio version was the way to go IMO. They added a lot more commentary (explaining situations in more detail, adding funny anecdotes and songs that Penn comes up on the spot just to make you laugh) than what was written in the book.

You can tell they did a lot of research on the topic as to write the book along with advice and pointers from their couple counselor.

I have followed the Holderness family for years and i really like them. This book doesn’t contain new info but it’s good to be reminded .
I listened to the audio version and it’s a DELIGHT. I presume they go off the cuff A LOT. I love how they talk to each other and it’s evident that they’re still big fans of each other even in the throes of Middle Aged life .

This was a fun listen as the authors added commentary as they read the original book. Funny, relatable stories with a little good advice thrown in (while the stories are clearly from their own lived experience and are not written from the perspective of a relationship specialist,  still useful if not entirely novel).
