*This book is the 3rd in the Magnolia Steele series. Make sure you read Center Stage (book 1) and Act II (book 2) before reading this one or you will be lost! *I received an ARC for my honest opinion. Call Back is plum full of action, suspense, answers to previous questions, and new questions yet to answer! Denise Grover Swank's character development is phenomenal! Such a complicated story, yet so well written it is not confusing. My digital highlighter (to mark those snippets of clues along the way!) got a real workout. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the final book!

Brilliant!!! Another piece to the puzzle...

I love the characters in this book as there is much more then meets the eye and I have a feeling we are only scraping the surface of that they are all about!!!

Did not see that coming! There is a lot happening in this book, but as always Denise keeps you hooked on the edge of your seat the entire time. So many twists and turns that I had a hard time figuring out what way was up. My only issue is the love triangle, Denise is such a great writer that she doesn't need an over used plot device like a love triangle, if that wasn't a part of the series I would have loved it a lot more.

I don't really know what to think of this book.
It's like a half finished jigsaw puzzle. The picture is just starting to appear but so much depends on the 4th and final book.
So 3 Stars and hopefully the final book knocks me out of the park.

Another great book in the Magnolia Steele series. Magnolia is finally coming into her own and taking matters into her own hands. There's a ton of action and drama. Plus some super sad moments. All in all another great book from Denise.

I listened to all four books in this series back to back in less than three days, so it's pretty clear I enjoyed them.  Something about southern accents on a rainy summer day just works. It's difficult to rate them individually because characters and plot are on-going and each book ends with cliff-hangers. Not a fan of cliff-hangers. Got to know the characters pretty well, but a couple of them had good guy/bad guy/no, back to good guy switches that didn't work for me.  By the end of the fourth book I was on character overload.  Too many peripherals pulled in to tie things up.  Would like to read more by this author, but I'll be very careful about the commitment if I decide to start another series.

Y'all I'm flying through this series quicker than I did with Rose Gardner! I also love that they are set in Nashville. Easy light mystery that actually has a LOT of twists and turns. Already pre ordered the last book!
