I really enjoyed this second installment. The relationships are coming together finally and we are seeing softer sides of the male characters, especially saint. As for the teacher he’s fine, but I don’t really care for him, he’s my least favorite. Learning about the unspeakables was really a turning point as well. The ending of this is actually crazy, but it was really I don’t think heartwarming is the right word, but just how much they fought to save her. This ends on a cliffhanger, so I’m excited to see where this goes.

loved everything (but the cliffhanger ugh!!)
-Saint‘s OCD is just *chef‘s kiss*
-Tatum is hell of a vindictive and strong heroine
- can‘t figure out Monroe tho..

it did drag quite a bit the first 200 or so pages for me but when it escalated so much at the end that i think it was worth it. i dont like monroe as a love interest mostly because he’s a teacher and even the ridiculous setting isn’t enough for me to fully suspend my disbelief and not get icked out - i feel like this would work better in a fantasy/pnr because they’re not usually set in our world anyway.

If you don’t enjoy a bully romance, this book is not for you. The romance is building very very slowly, which I don’t mind. It helps build the anticipation and suspense. The boys become much more loveable in this book because many things come to light that we didn’t know before.

I was not expecting that ending and I’m eager to get to book 3.
