A super easy and quick read, however I didn’t really learn anything. John Cleese is a treasure though!

I've always been of John Cleese's work, especially with Monty Python. This is a short book at just over 100 pages, and there are not a lot of words on the pages, so it's an easy read. I can't say that Mr. Cleese shared any big lightbulb moments for me, but it was interesting to hear his thoughts about his creative process. The advice he shares is solid, and backed by research, so it isn't just anecdotal. I would recommend it for young people looking to do any kind of creative writing - or writing of any kind.

I feel like I just attended a short lecture about creativity from Professor John Cleese and I loved every moment of it! This is a fun, quick read (or listen) with practical advice on how to foster and build creativity. Though it is geared toward writers, Cleese's suggestions could easily apply to any creative endeavor. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to get their creative juices flowing!
