Only downside was I wanted to hear details about her divorce...but otherwise great.

I enjoyed it or what it was, the memoir of a talented woman in the middle of a busy life. This is hardly a retrospective. It didn't wow me, and it's not the kind that sticks with you, but it entertained me. I do love Amy Poehler and would probably read a second book by her.

I love "Parks and Rec" and "ask amy," but this book was 75% disappointing. It was much too precious for my taste. There were a few good moments, but overall I feel that Amy held back a lot (something of which I'm certain she is aware).

I am so glad I listened to this on audio because it was great hearing Amy tell about her life. Some parts were pretty sad but she did not disappoint with her humor in between the heavier parts.

An amazingly wonderful book. Just like Amy. this book is funny, witty, smart, and full of heart. I read the entire thing in her voice, which I kind of imagine how it's meant to be read. That and to a room full of people because everyone needs to read this.

"Almost every girl goes through this weird living nightmare, where you show up at school and realize people have grown to hate you overnight."
