OK, I seriously don't know how other people give reviews, b/c I never know what to say, and I have a hard time figuring out what exactly I love about a book, I just know I love it. I had NEVER heard of Wendigo's before, and reading about something new was so exciting! But more than just that, I LOVED the characters, and really felt for them. Can't wait for more from Penelope (though I still volunteer to be her proof reader).

Penelope Fletcher has an great imagination and this book has great imagery. Only two chapters in and there was so much to take in. The transformation from human to Wendigo and back sounds horrifying. Not something I would like to run into even in a well lit alley.
I've read Penelope Fletchers other books and they were all very good, but they all had typos and this one is no exception. :(
