I read this book through a historical lens, researching the attitudes and public opinions on the climate crisis in the 1990s preceding the founding of the Kyoto Protocol. It was not only extremely informative, uncovering vast propaganda campaigns that skewed public opinion, but an easy read; the writing style is engaging and witty. Aside from scientific inaccuracies due to the dated nature of the book, I would definitely read this again.
