I mean, it's Bill Nye so it's awesome by default. He gracefully confronts the fallacies of creationism, specifically drawing us back to his debate with Ken Ham, while also authenticating the importance of science literacy. Bill Nye has a gift of making complex concepts easy to understand and appreciate. This book is no different.

Bill Nye has a comedic voice that kept me reading even though most of the information was stuff I learned in undergrad.

This was a delightful book that has very approachable language and explanations of complex scientific phenomena. At times, I found Nye's humor to be a little over the top, and there were places where I felt that someone without some scientific knowledge would struggle to understand the concept. Nevertheless, I would recommend this book as required reading maybe at upper high school or college level. The chapters on skin color and life elsewhere in the universe were very well done.

I learned a lot! Recommend hearing Bill Nye read it as you are winding down before sleep. Anyway, exposing kids to "Bill Nye the Science Guy" as I type this. I love how he makes science accessible for everybody!

Another one of my audiobook endeavors. I will say that listening to BIll Nye read his book was essentially Bill Nye the Science Guy show but in podcast form. This book clearly was written with the intention of writing to the general adult population on the basics of everything evolution (and everything in between). For this reason I felt like he was merely preaching to the choir to me since I have studied and majored it in my college days. And so, I had to approach it in the perspective of someone who really never went in depth in studying all things Evolution and Natural Selection.

I'm glad I listened to this audiobook either way.

Solid 3.75 and I think That’s probably only because a few things in here are a little dated, but that is the nature of the sciences. Still a compelling read and very informative, particularly if you are new to the argument.

Kind of underwhelming. I can't stop wondering who this is written for..Bill Nye fans already understand the things in here and creationists aren't going to read it. Maybe there are a lot of people on the fence who need convincing?

Bill Bye will always be my favorite science teacher. He knows how to break everything down into simple ideas. When you look at evolution though all the different levels of life, it really is simply undeniable.
