En general este es el tomo recopilatorio más flojo de Sherlock Holmes, aunque tiene alguna de las mejores historias, como la del Pie del diablo:

1. La aventura de Wisteria Lodge: 3'75/5. El argumento sobre los falsos culpables y las sociedades secretas es un poco repetitivo por parte del autor, y solo por eso esta historia no es muy destacable.
2. La aventura de los planos de Bruce-Parcington: 4'25/5. Es un caso original y de los que más me han gustado, pero me recuerda al del tratado naval. Son demasiado parecidos en ciertos temas.
3. La aventura del pie del diablo: 4'75/5. Mi absoluto favorito del libro. Es original y tiene momentos increíbles.
4. La aventura del círculo rojo: 3'75. Otra historia en la que sociedades secretas/mafias/etc toman el papel principal. Me ha gustado pero estas no suelen ser mis historias favoritas.
5. La desaparición de Lady Frances Carfax: 3'5. El inicio del relato no me ha parecido gran cosa, pero el final me ha gustado bastante porque el autor nunca había hecho uno similar, algo de lo que suele pecar.
6. La aventura del detective moribundo: 4. La forma en la que Holmes engaña a su amigo es brillante, y aunque hay muchos amantes de esta historia no me ha parecido la que más ha destacado.
7. El último saludo: 3. Es el que menos me ha gustado. La forma en la que se ha contado, los alemanes, los espías,... Me ha parecido flojo.

Suelo dar una puntuación superior a 4 a aquellos casos más memorables y los que yo considero INDISPENSABLES. Mis favoritos de momento han sido:

Wisteria Lodge - 5/5 - I would’ve liked a bit more detail, but it was still very good
Cardboard Box - 5/5 - This was intense and very distressing (Maybe my favorite story so far)
Red Circle - 5/5 - OMG THIS WAS SO GOOD!! (Top two or three Holmes story)
Bruce-Partington Plans - 4/5 - Good mystery, I saw some stuff coming because of that BBC Sherlock episode
Dying Detective - 4/5 - Not as good because we didn’t get to see the whole mystery, but it was different
Lady Francis Carfax - 5/5 - The villains in this story! Holy cow!
Devil’s Foot - 5/5 - Oh Boy! This was kind of intense
His Last Bow - 5/5 - Sooo good! Like soooooooo good!
