Okay, I think I just figured out why I was so confused through most of this book and felt like I was missing something, or some large chunks of things. Especially with what's his name, Ted Taco (I'm aware it was spelled differently, but still), and Cooper.

See, I thought it was the FIRST in the series, but it is, in fact, the third. ;laksjdf;ljkads;fl

I was all, why am I supposed to care about this love interest brother of the ex-boyfriend, when he's NEVER in the book? It makes SO MUCH SENSE now that I know there was probably hella build-up before this installment.

In other news, I very much enjoyed it, and might even read those other two entire books that came before it. ;lakjsdfl;dksjf;lsdfjks

Oh, Jules.

This is a very cute series of books. I think a lot of women can relate to Heather, with her body issues and man troubles. This series is definitely my favorite of Meg Cabot's series.

This book series has always been a favorite, and this book was a lot of fun. Heather is once again having issues in her residence hall when her new interim boss is shot point blank in the head. The place truly has become "death dorm".

The mystery of the book is a bit bland at best, with a resolution that truly feels like it is out of left field, but the journey to the end is a lot of fun even if Heather can't keep her nose out of a murder mystery no matter how much she promises to everyone else that she won't get involved this time. At this point I don't know why the police or Cooper bother asking.

Her father is moving out but wants her to consider to take a job hosting a kids show. What made me laugh is that Mandy Moore was also up for the role in the book and knowing her skills and where she is at now with her skills is just funny.

The supporting characters are a lot of fun even if some of it comes off as virtue signaling, which I never noticed before because that wasn't as big during that time as it is now. But I always enjoy a Meg Cabot novel and this was one for the books as they say

This story was campy and cute, though I almost stopped reading after the main character carried on and on about "losing her uterus" after running for like 5 seconds. Heather did get herself caught up in a murder investigation and there are a lot of suspects. She is also dating her professor and he is so clearly not suited for her. It's a good thing though since she is in love with her landlord.

The story picked up toward the end and I ended up liking it more. Overall a decent read, once you get past the running scene that is.

This book was a very quick read - I don't know if its quicker than the others but it took me 3 hr max to read whereas the others on CD were 8 hrs of listening. However it was probably my least favorite of the three.

While Heather is up to her usual shenanigans, it really doesn't heat up till the end of the book (the last 1/4 or so). Maybe this was because I didn't get into Tad and their relationship, maybe because Cooper doesn't have such a large role or maybe because it was all very breif. Gavin however still makes me giggle like a school girl( a reminder of my miss spent youth?)

One of the story lines start at the beginning when Heather is running (yes running) and she says "Also, I think I felt something come loose back there. I'm not trying to overact or anything, but I think it was my uterus. Honest. I think my uterus jiggled free". And while the inital line is a bit out of the blue (I don't even know what she means by this), it did make me giggle everytime it was mentioned along the way, sometimes once again out of the blue.

From the ending of the book I think it will be the last of the Heather Wells series and for me it just finished a little bit "tidy". I mean really they only kissed and are talking about eloping - don't really see it occuring with his personality.

Ok, it's exactly what I expect from Meg Cabot- mindless fun and a great summer read. This won't win any Pulitzers, but I still enjoyed it. You have to have some fluffy fun in your life!
