While I enjoyed the writing, as someone who is not a mother, I could not relate to the story and ideas personally. I thought the MLM aspect could have been explored more as a metaphor but realize that was not the direction the author was going.

I thought this was going to be a 5 star read but unfortunately it was a drag to get through! I felt like the main point of the book was beat into you and in your face the entire time which at times got really old

Everything about this book told me I would love it…but I just didn’t. As a mom of a toddler, I completely understand the underlying message, and I love the comparison of motherhood to a feral animal, but halfway through the book I just totally lost interest. She just kept beating the point, and even though it was a short book, it took me FOREVER to get through.

When I found out the premise of the book I could have never imagined myself not liking it..... yet here we are 😭 but maybe my own fault for not knowing it was a book about motherhood? but still this was a trudge to get through despite being so short
