This is an incredibly visceral commentary on motherhood that makes me want to howl with my whole chest.

Electric, practically crackles. An overall sensation and a brutally honest depiction of the separation but also connection between motherhood and womanhood. A refreshing horror story with enough humor to make it digestible while also knowing when to cut back on such to explain the intensity and disturbance of certain scenes. I hope Yoder continues to write more novels in her career.
