A fun overview of Stan Lee's life. It jumped around a little too much, so the flow wasn't the best, but it was still an enjoyable read.

A very charming take on an autobiography, the art was powerful and the the stories were brimful of sweetness. I suspect there is more to the story of fall outs, but I'll turn to Marvel Comics: The Untold Story for more answers.

Appropriate Format, Fun

A Stan Lee autobiography in comic book form: appropriate. Some new material here about his early childhood and his work life after leaving publishing duties behind. Lots of tipping of the hat, giving credit to artists, letters, editors, and the like. Fun overall.

“As Marvel just celebrated its seventy-fifth anniversary, I thought maybe it was time for a look at my life in the one form it has never been, as a comicbook - or, if you prefer, a graphic memoir. It strikes me a sa horrendous oversight that I haven’t done it before! If I didn’t know everything about my life already, I’d envy your voyage of discovery!”

I really enjoyed this comicbook autobiography by the legendary [a:Stan Lee|10303|Stan Lee|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1206594565p2/10303.jpg]. [b:Amazing Fantastic Incredible: A Marvelous Memoir|25111012|Amazing Fantastic Incredible A Marvelous Memoir|Stan Lee|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1446397957s/25111012.jpg|44804738] has actually been on my ‘to-read’ list for awhile now and it’s sad that it took Stan Lee’s passing for me to finally get around to reading it… Sorry, Stan, R.I.P.

Reading this book made me realize that I didn’t know much about Stan Lee. Apart from being the creator of all my favourite Marvel heroes, and seeing his cameos in all the movies, I knew virtually nothing about the man. I didn’t even know his real name!

This book didn’t provide in-depth background information on Stan’s personal life, but it did provide enough to give readers a sense of his life before he started working in the comicbook industry and what kind of person he was (hard working, passionate, and loads of fun!). Fans of marvel will love this book as it provides some background to the history of Marvel and how each of the heroes came into being.

Overall, this was a lot of fun to read.
