Teen Killers Club is an amazing debut by author Lily Sparks. It features Signal who is framed for the murder of her best friends and then offered a deal, which she takes and ends up finding herself at a place where she must train to become an assassin. The writing is VIVID and really draws in the reader. The plot was fun and explained very well. The characters feel real and authentic - very well developed. I can't wait to read the ebst book and see what happens!

THIS BOOK WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!

The premise of this book intrigued me, but I didn’t imagine I’d love it so much!! It’s such a different concept. Teens who killed, tested as class A’s, went to prison and then got an offer to go to a camp for class A’s. When our man character, Signal, gets to camp she finds out that this is a camp for teenage assassins.

The mystery had me all over the place. The characters were so complex, well they are supposedly teenage psychopaths, but delving a little into their lives made them interesting. I loved how when things got bad they all came together. Although there was always the question of whether they would stab each other in the back. The camp counselors were horrible, but the director is even worse.

There are lots of twists and turns. It was disturbing, quirky and pretty demented, but a really fun read!! I’m so excited that there is a book two!! I ordered it before writing this review. I can’t wait!! I highly recommend this book, I gave it 5 stars, but it deserves way more!!

This was surprisingly good! Going into this book, I wasn’t expecting much, but I actually ended up really enjoying it. It started off slow, but got progressively better and was filled with plenty of twists to keep things interesting.

I had a good time with this book. We have a "how to get away with murder" camp, a whodunnit mystery, and fun characters. I liked everyone, but I was partial to Jada and Nobody. And the mystery component surprised me (which, to be fair, isn't hard).

The one thing I didn't like was the love triangle. I'm not a fan of the trope in general, but it seemed especially off in a book about teen murderers. It didn't add anything to the story besides small bits of drama I didn't care about.

I listened to this via audiobook, which I highly suggest if you're interested! The narrator, Jesse Vilinsky, does a fantastic job showcasing emotion and having different voices for each of the many characters.

I wouldn't say no to reading the sequel, which is also on Scribd. We'll see how it goes!

She is innocent, she is not a murderer. Yet, only Signal Deere knows this is true and the reason she is headed to a secret killers compound. Can these murderers help her prove her innocence or will she became one of them? The Teen Killers Club is a fast paced mystery suspense novel. Sparks weaves a complex murder mystery with physiological elements to create a multi tired plot that will have readers thinking twice if they really know the characters. Signal is an innocent teen who is thrown to the wolves and must navigate her way through a special force for murderers. While the premise of the plot is intriguing, Signal is shallow and the reader does not get much depth or foundation of who this protagonist is. Very little of Signals past and her relationship with her deceased friend is given. This makes the set up for the whole book flimsy and unengaging. Readers learn more about the other members of the Ten Killers Club and even this information is not very much. The testing for admission to the compound is mentioned in passing and not really thought out. The school itself is loosely based on a training facility and does not offer any "assassin training" to aid the teens. Overall the book is a fast paced mystery that does not have any real depth to it.

An advanced readers copy was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

AH! This was so fun! I wanna read the sequel immediately!

Okay so this was like Scooby Doo meets Borne Identity. You have trained teen assassins but instead of being used by “the man” they team up against “the man”.

I devoured it!
