Oh Emerson and Sam. Wow this book felt like a Rollercoaster. The boys had so much going on and feeling their connection was a light in the tunnel. Emerson has so much self hatred and refuses to see how kind he really is. He's just surviving, punishing himself for something that he didn't do and everything before it. Sam is such a big kind soul, but he's so people pleasing he doesn't really move out of the Status quo. The motion to get them together is a bit silly, it's really held together by how they are to each other. Watching them both up is so beautiful to see. Seeing everything from a 3rd party really made me see just how gray/flawed everyone is and we can still care about them. Molly and Charles are mvp best friends and I adore them. The epilogue was beautiful and im so glad they get their dreams.
