A little girl is outside playing when she notices a brilliant yellow kite flying high in the sky. She follows the line of the kite and makes an unexpected friend. The fragile bonds of a newly formed friendship are stretched when the little girl takes what doesn't belong to her. This is a wonderful book about ownership, responsibility, and forgiveness. Great picture book to start a discussion about manners and being a good friend.
