It was ok at the beginning but about halfway through it got super judgy and preachy. She says often enough that everyone is different but she sure makes it seem like hers is the right way. I’m all for saving money and reducing consumption but I’m not about to learn how to sew just so I can fix my old navy pajama pants.
Moderate: Mental illness, Body shaming, Fatphobia, Alcoholism, Alcohol, and Addiction

I really enjoyed this book, and it inspired me to do something similar in the future.
I did enjoy that at the end, she gave specific dollar amounts of what she saved, spent, and lived on over the year of her ban, because it did help me to realize that with my current income and type of job, it may not be the best time to take this challenge on 😅
