I liked this story the most out of the book series.
Sadly the sidecharacters weren't included more but I understand that choice to do it this way. The MCs were complex and I liked the character development of especiall the fMC.

One issue I have with this series is that, to me, it does not fit the genres. It is neither an actual dark romance nor lighthearted fluff...so I always have to be in one specific mood to read them.
The ending seems also kind of rushed, meaning after the climax of the story it was kind of meh were I had hoped for the rest of the puzzle pieces starting to fit in to be more interesting/exciting...

I will say that this book had probably put me in a slow reading slump. Not that I didn't want to read, but I just didn't enjoy the premise as much as I did the first one. I felt like it had gone stale at some parts and slower at others, and tbh I just didn't enjoy it as much as I did Twisted Love. I loved the characters, of course, but just something about it didn't have the spark that Twisted Love gave me.

I honestly didn’t like it as much as I thought it would. It definitely lost me for a minute there and caught myself skimming once I got to like 65%. I can’t put my finger on any dislikes though.

I wasn’t too big of a fan of the majority of the book, I felt like it was repetitive and dragged on but I like how the ending wrapped it up so that helped redeem the book a little for me. It very much was not my style and there were certain scenes and descriptions I could have done without personally. The characters weren’t very interesting to me and none of the characters besides the main two were fleshed out characters. The relationship between Rhys and Bridget seemed toxic because they relied on each other too much and </spoiler he drinks alcohol for the first time when they get separated from each other which is completely out of character, but at least it didn’t continue after that> There is also something mentioned in the book that was never brought up again, but I’m assuming that’s for the fourth book.

Okay first off loved it definitely better than twisted love . I will say that because the book takes place over four years there’s so much detail and it moves so fast. It all blends together nicely though. The emotional aspect is there and it really just tugs and crushed your heart strings. Definitely a rollercoaster ride but a pretty good one at that. On to twisted hate….
