2.5 stars, maybe? I don’t know that there’s anything egregiously wrong with this book, but it’s really boring. So much so that a 3 feels just a bit too high. Silly and cozy for the first half and then it just…doesn’t do anything. The plot and the characters are both just meh.

I never start a new book before I finish my current one, but I had to put this down at 80% to read something else because I didn’t want to waste my vacation reading time on something I was that bored with. I honestly could have just not finished it and been fine but I decided to go for the last 20% because I may as well

This was so so sweet! It was like a slightly more emotional Legends & Lattes, with that same cozy round family feeling but with more relationship time with the main couple. Eli and Ames 5ever

So cute!

I love the slice-of-life fantasy setting, with a. precious found family group and sweet and lightly angsty rival potion makers.

Honestly, it was a great little cozy fall read.
