I didn't like it as much as her first novel, but admittedly I'm not a parent and I don't like children.... So it's a bit harder for me to relate to the MC. Still a great thriller

wow. Such a good book.

Synopsis: One year ago, Isabelle Drake's life changed forever: her toddler son, Mason, was taken out of his crib in the middle of the night while she and her husband were asleep in the next room. With little evidence and few leads for the police to chase, the case quickly went cold. However, Isabelle cannot rest until Mason is returned to her—literally.

This is now one of my favorite thrillers of all time! Such a fast pace story. The twists tho I was screaming crying and throwing up.
I listened to this on audio and let me tell you... Karissa Vac meet he perfect narrator. She was able to keep up all the tension and suspense, which left me hanging on her every word. I was truly hooked.

The ending moved quickly, but I absolutely didn't see it coming. There were twists sprinkled throughout the book, leading me to think I had a theory only to be proven wrong again and again. An incredible read.

First half was way to slow and kind of boring. Last half moved faster but I’m still confused about some things. I appreciate the raw Way the author handled emotions around new motherhood and grief

I feel this book started slow, and considering how quickly I felt A Flicker in the Dark started, I was really worried this one would take a lot longer than it did

But, once it hit “That Point” the pace went fast and even some plot holes I thought for sure would be forgotten were filled

I may have called some of the twists before they happened but I feel like they were well executed

In a way, this reminded me of Good as Dead (GGGTM 3) but I enjoyed this ending much more
